17 closest friends gathered for a lakeside luncheon. The party was held on The Terrace, a small, intimate venue looking out on Spirit Lake in Indianapolis. Before lunch, guests could take their cocktails onto the outdoor patio and take in the sights and sounds of the lake. Lunch was a plated meal with service by Crystal Catering.
Hors d'oeuvres: Arancini with Roasted Tomato Marinara, Balsamic Pearls, Smoking Goose Salame, Micro Greens
Salad: Arugula and Mixed Greens, Red and Yellow Cherry Tomatoes, Pine Nuts, Ciliegini
Mozzarella, Basil Chiffonade and Grilled Pesto Chicken with a Lemon
Vinaigrette and a Parmesan Crostini
Entree: Angel Hair Pasta with Broccoli
Dessert: Warm Donut holes drizzled with sweetened condensed milk, Vanilla Bean Ice Cream and Strawberries
The staff and venue were amazing. My friends couldn't stop raving about the food and beverages. And, the centerpieces were arranged using flowers from my grandmother's garden. A little piece of her was there with me to join in the celebration.
